Who’s to blame…
… for the plight of the Rohingyas?
Burmese racism?
The de facto military regime there?
No, no, no.
The real culprits are over the fold.
I was going to write something sarcastic. But why bother? People who are spreading such nonsense through facebook will not appreciate sarcasm. Their hyperpartisan minds are convinced of the veracity of these. And anyone who sees the utter idiocy in these won’t need sarcasm.

There was a demo at the BD high commission in london about this on monday of this week. I am not sure if there was any coverage in desh. Channel 4 TV have also covered it. Excellent peice by Rumi Ahmed in bdnews 24 recently.
Need to be careful not to allow the dear rohingya people to be used as a pawn in greater geopolitics (as a pro-west, anti-china political object).
A few Magh voices influence the government of Bangladesh too much on this issue, while Human RIghts goddess AS Suu Kyi walks around the capitals of the west being bumk!ssed and denying the Rohingyas rights as Burmese citizens.
Nationalists need to study Myanmar(sorry) with great depth and care.
